October 1, 2016, Calgary, Alta – The Driving Alternative Inc., known as Keys Please®, has been operating in Calgary for 20 years. Keys Please® started as a designated driving service for people who simply wanted to enjoy a night out and have a few drinks, but wanted their vehicles for the next day. With the Driving Alternative., Keys Please® offers designated driving, as well as the option where they would drive people in their vehicle after having day surgery, eye surgery or dental procedure. And now with Ride Please™ there is also the option of other services such as being driven to and from meetings, running errands, family pick-up from school and other destinations.

Ride Please™ is also setting the industry standards when it comes to doing a complete comprehensive background screening process with each and every single driver they have. The screening process is a rigorous one. Every driver must have a complete criminal check with a vulnerable sector search. When it comes to the vehicle, the City of Calgary has a standard of the vehicle being no more than 10 years old; however, Ride Please™ will set the standard that the vehicle must not be more than eight years old. Plus, every vehicle must be a four-door vehicle with plenty of legroom for the passengers. The drivers must be over the age of 25 and have 10-plus years’ driving experience. In addition to the uniformed personnel, every driver with Ride Please™ will have the appropriate insurance and appropriate city license (TNDL).
